Mio50 starts but has no power when the engine is still cold. After 10 minutes the engine works fine. I think the electric choke ( Solenoid) doesn't work correctly.
How to know if the Solenoid is working as specified?
What should the length be of the solenoids needle in cold state?
The Solenoid has a needle that is shorter when cold and longer when hot. To check this I have connected the battery directly to the battery poles (12volt). The housing becomes hot (It is supposed to do so). The gained length of the needle is around three millimeters. So it seems to work, but if I measure the length in the cold state the needle already blocks the petrol flow used to make the fuel air mixture more rich. (Cold engines need more petrol in relation to the mixed air). Therefore my question: What should the length of the needle be in cold state? What will the needle length of the solenoid be after lets say 10 minutes connected to the 12 volt power supply (After 10 minutes the engine should be hot). What should the difference in length be?
I've read when measuring the resistance of the part between the positive and negative poles this sould be 10 ohms. I measure almost zero resistance... What is it suppost to be?
